God is:

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural influence and guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the absolute source of truth for Christian faith, practice and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.

Jesus the Christ is:

​

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead three days later to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory, seated at the right hand of the Father and will return again to earth reigning as King of King’s, Lord of Lord’s.

The Holy Spirit is:

​

1) The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son of God and is fully divine. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ and He convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with the power for living, understanding to spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian should seek to live under His control on a daily basis.

2) Concerning the Christian, we believe through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a distinct experience from salvation, Christians are empowered to be witnesses for Christ. One evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit can be speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, working of miracles as the Spirit leads/moves. We believe that the gifts given by the Holy Spirit are given without repentance and are available and applicable for today. The filling of the Holy Spirit is not an onetime occasion and should be an ongoing event in the life of the Believer.

People are:

 

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation; because of this every person of every race possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love. Although every person has incredible potential for good, we are marred by a fallen nature of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This sin separates people from God and all people possess this sin nature at birth.

Salvation is:

 

The Bible teaches, because of universal death through sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again. We know, also, that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made to be sin and was made a curse for us, dying in our place. Because of this we can be born again by His Holy Spirit.

Concerning this act we believe Salvation is a gift from God to all, but we must accept it personally by faith. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement, good works or religious activity. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offering for forgiveness, can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.

The Church is:

A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an independent local assembly of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.

 

The head of the church is Jesus Christ. The biblical purposes of the church are worship, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship and ministry to others.

About Evil:

​

While God will one day do away with all evil, He currently allows evil in the world, which provides mankind the choice between good and evil. Satan is the source of all evil and will suffer an eternity of separation from God for his choices. (Hell was originally prepared for the devil and his demons.) Evil is present in the world because of mankind’s choice in the Garden of Eden. Because of Jesus, we have the opportunity to choose the goodness of God’s grace over evil. While God could eliminate evil immediately, He endures the grief of waiting to do so in order to give more people the opportunity to come to faith in Him. God is able to cause all things, even the evil in this world, to work together for the good of those who love Him.

Baptism & the Lord's Supper: 

 

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

The Lord's Supper (Communion) is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members memorialize the death of Jesus Christ and anticipate His second coming.

We affirm God's plan for marriage is between one biological man and one biological woman for life. We affirm and believe Gods plan for sexual intimacy is between one biological man and one biological woman in a marriage covenant. Sexual intimacy in deed or in the heart, outside of marriage, is condemned as sin. All Adultery, Fornication and Fornication+ Lifestyles ie: Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Gay, Transexual, Queer, Intersexual and Asexual + expressions are not a "valid alternative lifestyle" before God. The Bible condemns this as sin. They are not, however, unforgivable sins. The same redemption available to all sinners is available to adulterers and fornicators. They, too, may become new creations in Christ.
